ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

 

If you're a family relative of any member of Prince Hall Lodge #61 F&AM who is still in good financial standing and you're a 2023 graduating Senior from James Monroe High School or Brooke Point High School, you may be eligible to receive financial aid for higher education.


Criteria:

1.) Student must not have any major discipline infractions.

2.) Student must be a graduating senior.

​

3.) Student must provide an academic transcript (sealed from the high school), verification of SAT scores, and a copy of the letter of college acceptance.

​

4.) One personal character letter of reference from a person of the student’s choice.

​

5.) One letter of recommendation from the student’s high school administrator/sponsor identifying the student’s high school involvement.

​

6.) One letter of reference from the student’s teacher, of choice, identifying the student’s attitude toward academics.

​

7.) A 250-word essay (hand written) consisting of a brief biography and a depiction of what your future plans and goals are. If there is an existing financial hardship of your immediate family, please specify as well as any special circumstances regarding the family which would support why you deserve to receive this support.


8.) Complete the attached application. Incomplete application or guidelines will not be accepted. Mail all required documents in one package at the same time.
